Skins and Hides

Murray Roberts and Co., Ltd., report: “At the auction sale we offered our usual catalogues of hides and sheepskins. Bidding for sheepskins was animated, and competition strong. Prices for all sorts advanced on last sale, ranging from to id per lb. Half and quarter wools, in some cases, were a full penny per lb. up. With the exception of extra heavy ox, practically all classes of hides advanced on last sale’s prices.
