RICHARDS BEATS STEWART United Tress Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. SYDNEY, May 12. A crowd of 14,000 at the Stadium last night saw a gruelling 12-round boxing contest between the Australian middle and light-heavyweight champion, Ron Richards (list. 31b.), and the coloured American, Ossie Stewart (list. 81b.), the verdict going to Richards on points. Stewart was on his. knees in the third and ninth rounds.
