Liner to Rescue Of Danish Ship
PASSENGERS AND CREW SAVED United Press Association.—By Elects Telegraph.—Copyright. COLOMBO, May 10. The P. and O. liner Canton put out and rescued 35 passengers and also the crew of the Danish steamer Alsia (5812 tons) in which there was a fire in the engine-room nine miles south of Ceylon. The Alsia ran aground off Gable Beach.
