Not Clipping a Hair After New Closing Time
OVERWORKED BARBERS Per Pres* Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Tired of working morning and evening six days of the week, hairdressers and tobacconists in Wellington and suburbs have determined to keep shorter business hours. Pink notices posted in barbers’ shops throughout the city this week announce that earlier closing hours are to bo observed in future. It is likely, too, that tobacconists’ shops, usually run in conjunction with hairdressing businesses, will shortly adopt similar hours.
