Mr. J. A. Lee Elected To Central Executive

NEW ZEALAND LABOUR PARTY Por Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Nght. Mr. J. A. Lee, M.P., has been elected to a scat on the central executive of tho New Zealand Labour Party. The national secretary of the Party, Mr. D. Wilson, M.L.C., announced this evening that tlio olection held at the recent annual conference of the Party had resulted in the ro-olection of last year's central executive with the exception that Mr. P. M. Butler had not accepted nomination, Mr. Lee having been elected to the vacant position. There were 45 nominations for five seats and voting in some intsances was very close. The elected members are Mr. T. Brindle, M.L.C.; Mr. J. A. Lee, M.P.,; Mrs. R. Semple, Mr. P. Dowse and Mr. R. Eddy.
