Sales of Pigs

CHELTENHAM DAIRY COMPANY’S ANNUAL SALE A great reputation, based on many years of sound and constructive breeding, is enjoyed by the Cheltenham Co-op. Dairy Co., Ltd., whose piggeries at Makino, Feilding, have produced many pigs of outstanding individuality which have carried all before them at some of the Dominion’s premier pig shows. Tho second annual sale from this favourably known stud will be held at Makino on Wednesday, May 3, when a very choice offering of pedigree Berk shire and Tamworths and commercial sows will be submitted for unreserved 'sale. Tho Berkshire offering includes daughters of the celebrated Canadian importation, Woodburn Landon, wlios* general type and quality have placed him amongst New Zealand’s foremost show pigs in New Zealand. His daughters iu the offering are of wonderful length, showing real breed character and arc well worthy of inspection. Catalogues of the sale are now available and may be obtained on application to the auctioneers, the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd. (ine. in England).
