The Bench imposed a fine of £1 and costa 10s. A charge of driving without due care and attention was preferred against Hilda Penruddocke Kiehardson, married woman, of Cunninghams, and she was fined £1 ss, costs being fixed at 12s. Alfred Edwafd Prujean, transport operator, of Apiti, for overloading a passenger vehicle on March 3, was fined £2 and costs were fixed at 12s. David Edward Heap, of Palmerston North, was fined 3Us and 12s costs for exceeding the speed limit in Feilding on March 19.

By remitting all arrears up to date, a maintenance order in favour of Martha Chandler, of Feilding, was varied on the application of Herbert Frederic Chandler, of Taurangn. The amount of the order was not altered.
