Tho contractor is now on the job with the work of erecting tho overhead bridge which is to eliminate the dangerous railwuy crossing at Ashhurst. Aleanwhile, traffic between Ashhurst aud Woodville will be deviated via tho road at tho back of the Ashhurst railway stution, while Palmerston Nortli-Ashhurst traffic will proceed by the direct route over the hill a little back from the railway station. Feiidiug-VVoodville traffic will turn south vvhen it meets this road till a junction is effected with the Palmerston North-Woodville main highway.
