EVENING SPORTS
First Fitness Programme HANDICAPS FOR CYCLISTS AND RUNNERS A specially enlarged programme will be staged by the Woodville Amateur Athletie and Cycling Club for its fitness week evening meeting on Monday next. Club members’ events will count for points. The meeting is timed to start earlier than usual in view of the larger programme and the advance of the season. The following are the events:— 220 yards, boys under 14, 220 yards, senior; half-mile cycle, senior; half-mile cycle, boys under 14; 440 yards, senior; one mile cycle, senior; 100 yards, girls under 14; wheelbarrow race, under 16; two-mile cycle, senior; 440 yards, boys under 16; cyclists v. runners, 75 yards; teams’ cycle race, one mile; 75 yards sack race, boys under 16.
