Lord Nuffield to Visit Palmerston North
TO BE ACCORDED CIVIC RECEPTION On Thursday afternoon the Mayor, Mr. A. E. Mansford, on behalf of the citizens of Palmerston North, extended through Sir Charles Norwood, an invitation to Lord Nuffield, the noted industrial figure and philanthropist, to visit Palmerston North. A reply that he had accepted was received yesterday. The visit will be paid on March 7 and it is intended to accord Lord Nuffield a civic reception.
