Victorian Drought Relieved
RAIN FALLS OPPORTUNELY Received Friday, 10.25 p.m. MELBOURNE, Feb. 17. The protracted drought in Victoria has been partly broken with good overnight rains, which have now spread into New South Wales, replenishing Burrinjuck Dam, which supplies tho rice crops. There lias been grave anxiety lately whether the rice crops would be saved owing to the possibility of water from Burrinjuck having to bo rationed.
