FARMERS’ CO-OP. REPORT The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., report as follows on the Pahiatua weekly sale when the advertised numbers of sheep were yarded and once again an overflow yarding of pigs was offered to a good attendance of Manawatu and district buyers: Our company yarded 1846 sheep mostly comprising lambs, and with the exception of one pen they report a total clearance under the hammer. The top white face shorn lambs of their offering were purchased by Manawatu buyers, while tho top b.f. lambs, and medium lambs mainly remained locally. A very attractive line of b.f. lambs was offered on account of W. G. Eising which realised 15s 9d, and the top lino of Mrs. I. M. Baldwin’s “Turnberry” white face shorn wether lambs realised 14s.

Pigs: Over 100 yarded. Stores, 26s 6d, 25s 6d; slips, 22s to 20s; weaners (good), 19s 6d, 18s, 17s; medium, 12s 6d, 11s to 10s 6d.
