Mr. and Mrs. D. O. L. Howden and family left Pahiatua yesterday to take up residence in Hawera. The many friends of Mr. J. A. Gibson, of Ballance, will regret to hear that ho is indisposed. Mr. J. H. Kemnitz, who has for the past six weeks been relieving Mr. W. L. Tattle as district manager of the Pahiatua Public Trust Office, returned to Blasterton on Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. A. A. Armstrong lias been elected a member of the Pahiatua A. and P. Association. Mr. A. Boss, who has been a patient at the Pahiatua Public Hospital for the past fortnight, has returned to his home. The Rev. H. Wilson, former vicar of St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Pahiatua, is re-visiting the district much recovered in health, and is winding up his affairs prior to retiring to live in Talraerston North.
