National Dairy Bull Sale Held

INCREASED ENTRIES AND IMPROVED QUALITY

Increased entries and an improvement in the condition of the stock were noticeable at the spring national dairy bull sale and show, which was held at the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association’s grounds yesterday by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd. In all 125 head were catalogued tw come under the auctioneer’s hammer, 102 of these being Jerseys, 20 Shorthorns and three Friesians. Prior to the sale a show was held, the judges being Messrs. H. J. Lancaster (Glen Oroua) and Harold J. Lancaster (Levin). The following were the placings: — Shorthorns. Two years and over.—S. J.
