From Our Own Correspondent. Golf Club. The ladies had no competition last week-end, but the men turned out in good numbers for a stableford bogey competition, and the results were as follow: A. Veal was the winner with 36 points, R. A. Nicol 32, C. Williams 30, R. Batchelor 29, A. T. Nichols 28, E. Pedersen 27, N. Moffatt, C. Pedersen, J. Veal© 26, B. Pedersen 24, J. Hughes 22. Next week-end the golf season closes,
and providing the weather is good a lot of visitors from neighbouring clubs aro expected. All kinds of competitions will be held, including long drive, approach and putt, novelty putting, etc. In tho afternoon a mixed foursome will be played over nine holes, followed by the presentation of trophies for the past season. This season has been a very enjoyable one, and the membership is still growing. The weather is still very changeable, but the grass is growing nicely. The milk supply at tho local factory is considerably lower than last year.
