Clerical Workers in Taranaki and Nelson
AGREEMENT REACHED IN AWARD APPLICATION Per Press Association. 9 WELLINGTON, Last Night. Agreement subject to ratification of one or two minor points concerning exemptions and hours of work in pa»senger transport offices was reached in Conciliation Council to-day when an application by clerical workers in Taranaki (outside a 25-mile radius) and Nelson districts for a new award was beard. Wages which are to come into force as from November 1 were fixed as in the present Dominion award. The \ overtime, holidays and machinery c lauses are as in the Dominion award.
