Party at Awapuni Home
Following her usual custom, Nurse Binder, together with members of St. Vincent de Paul Society, gave a inqst enjoyable entertainment to the- inmates of the Awapuni Home yesterday afternoon. The function was given in honour of Nurse Binder's birthday'. Various items were rendered, after which Air. Fraser, the oldest inmate, presented Aliss Binder with a birthday gift. Nurse Binder thou, on behalf of the society, presented tho home with a beautiful easy chair. The matron replied on behalf of the Hospital Board and the home. Alonsignor MacAlnnus then thanked the entertainers and “Auld Lang Byrne" was sung. Gifts of cakes were a special treat and were cnjoy'cd by tho old people.
