Student Nurses Entertain Registered Branch
The Manawatu branch of the Registered Nurses’ Association held a 1 council meeting on Tuesday last at the Nurses’ Home, Palmerston North Hospital, Miss L. Banks presiding in the absence of Aliss C, McKenny (Pahiatua). Routine ousmess was trans- | acted, new members elected and future programmes considered. Following business, student nurses ' entertained the registered nurses very I happily with musical and elocutionary ! items, also a rehearsed reading of a * play, “The Scarlet Thread.” Supper was enjoyed and thanks to the student nurses were conveyed by Mrs. J .Fisher.
