FARMERS’ CO-OP. REPORT The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op Distributing Co., Ltd., report on the Pahiatua weekly sale held on Tuesday, when a large entry of dairy cattle, pigs, and a small yarding of sheep were offered to a fair attendance of the public. We quote:— Dairy cows, close to profit, early colvers, £9 ss, £8 10s, £S 5s to £7 10s 9d; later cal vers, £7 ss, £7, £6 10s to £0; Jersey heifers, £5 7s Od, £5 to £4 15s; empty heifers, £4 ss, £3 13s, £3 to £2 lOs; fat cows ex dairy, £5 ss. W.f. wether hoggets, 17s 3d. Porkers, 345, 325, 30s; store pigs, 295, 28s; good weaners, 295; small sorts, 14s 6d, 13s.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., reports on the weekly sale held on Tuesday when a good yarding of dairy cattle came forward and met with moderate competition. Values remained on a par witn previous quotations: Good dairy cows near profit realised up to £9, £B, £7 ss; later calvers, £5, £5 15s, £6 10s; springing Jersey heifers, £6, £7 10s, £7 15s.
