Central School Annual Ball

To-night ’s .function at the A. and P. hall, organised primarily for the pupils' enjoyment, will mark another milestono in the education of our children. There, for the first time, will bo shown what is visual education.

j The committee are to be congratulated on such a. step forward, by purchasjing a talkie machine that will bring all ! branches of science, nature, art, etc., j before the very eyes of the pupils in ! their own school—certainly an achievc- . meat that tho parents will endorse wholeheartedly. On looking back, education has progressed a long way, but to-night will demonstrate the most advanced step of all, visual education. The committee needs the support of all in this project, as the net proceeds are being set aside for tho purchase of the machine. A special appeal is made to the old pupils of Central. Hero is an opportunity of again wearing tho old school tie. Come along and get marked present, with full marks for conduct, no standing in the corner or doing a hundred lines after hours (the show is over at 1 a.m.). Tickets are 2s, which includes supper and. four hours' dancing to Loveday 's orchestra, and a demonstration of visual education.
