Death Roll Now Doubled
SEQUEL TO PLANE CRASH INTO CROWD BOGOTA (Colombia), July SO. The deaths as tho result of the military plane’s crash into the crowd now total 70, with 200 injured. A message sent from New York on July 25 stated that at least Zi persons , were killed and 150 were injured when a military aeroplane crashed into a crowd of 50,000 spectators at a military review at the opening of the army camp at Bogota, capital of the Central American republic of Colombia. Doctors estimated the eventual death roll would be at least 50, as several of those injured were certain to die. The aeropiano was performing aerobatics at the time of the disaster.
