An unusual sight was seen on the Hutt Road on Saturday afternoon when a huge mechanical navvy was being transported from Waiwetu to the Ngahauranga Gorge road works. It is usual to transport these machines piecemeal, but in order to place the machine on the job ready for work yesterday morning it was transported wholes.
