Parties for a Bride-Elect
MISS JOYCE RAINFORTH HONOURED Mis* Joyce Rainforth is a bride-elect who has been much feted recently. On Saturday a number of her friends met at the home of Mrs E. L. Christian to bring Miss Rainforth gifts foT her pantry. Those present were Misses K. Richards, N. Moore, M. Thwaites, K. Hart and J., T. and J. Christian. Also at the week-end Miss Mary Thwaites was hostess at morning tea and the guest of honour was called upon to open numerous parcels containing useful articles for her kitten. Those present were Mesdamos E. F. Thwaites, A. Puklowski, R. Corkingdale, and Misses K. Richards, N. Moore, N. Niehol, E. Christian, M. Penketh, H. Puklowski and B. Gibbs. A farther party for Miss Rainforth was given by Mrs. J. Puklowski, whoso guests contributed gifts of handkerchiefs.
