Howard Hughes, the millionaire •viator, referring to his world flight. “The aeroplane/ 7 he added, “cost -15,000, but the motors and petrol ‘ v ero furnished free. 7 * Mr. Hughes and his crew of four flew 11,685 miles in 3 days 19 hours 14 minutes. Mr. Hughes is making plans for a flight around South America, including a non-stop flight of 4820 miles from New York to Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
