TRIBUTE TO HON. W. PERRY P«r Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 30. A tribute to the president, the Hou W. Perry, ML.C., was paid by the Dominion Council of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association at the an aual meeting in Wellington yesterday, when he was unanimously re-elected ai president, and a vote of confidence in him was passed. The election of other officers resulted as follows: Dominion vice-president, Mi B. J. Jacobs (Palmerston North); dis trict vice-presidents, Dr. J. L. Frazerburst (Auckland); Messrs E. J. Carr (Wellington-Nelson-Marlborough), R Paterson (Canterbury-Westland), W. F Forrester (Otago-Southland); Dominion hon. treasurer, Mr J. D. Harper; Doml nion executive committee, CoL A Cowles, Messrs C. W. Batten, A. T. Duncan, H. D. Burdekin. G. A. Hayden, G. T. Hall, J. W. Kendall (Auckland), Capt C. F. Bishop (South African War Veterans* Association); representative or N.Z.E.F, Canteen and Regimental Funcu Trust Board, Colonel M. Aldred; re presentative on War Pensions Board Mr J. D. Harper; representatives or Soldiers’ Civil Re-establishment League Messrs H. B. Burdekin, J. L Goldsmith •nd G. A. Hayden; representative on the Great War Funds Administrative Committee of the Joint Council of the Oraer of St John and the New Zealand Red Cross Society, Messrs E. C. Hal« and H. B. Burdekin; auditors, Messrr Clarke, Menzies, Griffin, and Co. The president reported that he had received a letter from the Australian Imperial Force Wives and Children’! Holiday Association, inviting 50 New Zealand sons of returned soldiers to attend a Furlough House camp at Syd new next year.
