Mrs. J. Little has returned from a holiday spent in Wellington and Hastings.
Little Ivan Jones, who met with an accident at school last week, has been admitted to the Dannevirke Hospital where he underwent an operation on Wednesday. He is progressing satisfactorily. The friends of Mrs. E. Lynch will be pleased to hear that she is much improved in health after her recent illness.
Miss Pattison is an inmate of a private hospital in Pahiatua where she is under observation. Mr. and Mrs. W. Beals have returned from a holiday spent in Napier.
Mr. W. Norman has returned after spending a few days in New Plymouth. Miss M. Kilminster is holidaying with relatives in the Wairarapa. Miss Nora Brown and Mr. Chas. Brown have returned from a holiday spent in Otorohanga. Mr. Jack Colhoun is home again after spending a few days in Wellington.
After a very enjoyabe evening’s play, last week’s euchre prizes were annexed by Mrs. J. Grant and Mr. J. Grant and Mr. J. Little.
