CLUB COMPETITION The hidden holes competition played on Saturday afternoon resulted as under: — A division: B. Donald and A. Carthew, nett 66. B division: J. McKay, nett 63. Next Saturday the second qualifying round for the club championships will bo played, all scores returned being recorded for the Byrne Cup. Competitors in the Day Cup and fourball competition are reminded that closing day for section play is Sunday next. Handicaps reductions: B. Donald from 14-11 to 12-9; W. A. Carthew from 24-18 to 22-17; J. McKay from 36-27 to 32-24; T. Murphy from 33-25 to 32-24. LADIES’ COMPETITIONS The A and B grade one club competition played by the Pahiatua ladies resulted in a win for Mrs. Morgan, while the C grade was won by Miss Merrie. Miss A. Boyd won the A and B grade stableford, and the C grade stableford was annexed by Mrs. Russell Mill&. The C grade eclectic winner was Miss McSherry.
