New Government Houses
FOUR PROPOSED POR WOODVUiLE Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Mr. J. A. Lee, Parliamentary Undersecretary in charge of Housing, announced to-day that Cabinet has approved of tho purchase of land in the following localities:— Auckland: Areas in Ennismore, New North and Harlcston roads and Hendon avenue, Mount Albert, sufficient for 13 house units. Area in Wicklow road, Dcvonport, sufficient for two house units. Area in Green lane, Peach Parade, and Royal Terrace, Kemuera, sufficient for seven house,.. Foxton: Land in Park and Robinson streets, sufficient for seven houses. Wellington: Area in Porirua road, Ngaio, sufficient for 26 house units. Area in Allen street, Lower Hutt, sufficient for two houses. Area in Pifie Crescent, sufficient for 21 houses. Woodville: Area in Vogel and Ferguson streets, sufficient for three houses. Section in McLean street, sufficient for one houm. Christchurch: Area in Bounty street, Bryndwr, sufficient for 29 houses.
