Safe Removed From Store
HAUL OF £55 IN CASH Per Press Association. WANGANUI, Last Night. During the week-end thieves removed a safe containing £55 in money from the Maypole Stores’ (Aramoho) shop. Entrance was gained by breaking & small pane of glass in a door, which enabled the intruders to work the Yale lock. The safe was heavy enough to require at least two men to carry it from the office.
