KING ARTHUR’S CAVE LONr N, July 10. An 18-year-old colliery boy, William Lloyd, of Pontneathvaughao, Walc\ has found a rema ' b cave, which is believed to be tbj legendary hiding place of the follower" < King Arthur and his Round Table Knights. Scientists, geologist \ and historians are flocking to the little country village near Aberdare, Glamorgan, where the discovery was made. Lloyd found a:, ivy-covered, hole about a yard square near tho Bychant gorge. Not knowing what lay before him, and with only the light of a flashlamp, ho descended 50 feet before he reached the floor of a cave. It stretched 200 yards to his right. On the left was a passage a hundred yard long, its walls sparkling wit l crystals and quartz. Long stalactites and stalagmites, some of them joined into tall pillars, were scattered in all parts. Lloyd believes there is another cave below, where relics may be found of King Arthur and his knights. He is trying to v get a diver’s outfit to continue his explorations.
