VALUES SHOW DECLINE The N.Z. Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., Feildiug, advise having received the following cable from their London office:—Wool sales closed today. Compared with the close of the last series prices, in the following order, were:—Superior, medium to good, inferior to medium* Greasy merinos, par to 5 per cent, down, unchanged, unchanged. Scoured merinos: Unchanged, par to 5 per cent, down, h per cent. down. Greasy crossbreds: Unchanged, unchanged, unchanged. Scoured crossbreds: Par to 5 per cent, down, par to 5 per cent, down, unchanged. Slipes: Unchanged, unchanged, unchanged. Closing values, in the following order: —Superior, medium to good, inferior to medium:—Greasy merinos, Is 3d, Is 6d, Is, Is 2£d, 9*d, ll|d; scoured merinos, Is 84d, 2s 2d, Is 4sd, Is Bd, Hid, Is 4d; greasy crossbreds, Is, Is lfd, lOd, Is, 9d, scoured crossbreds, Is sd, Is Is 3d, 9d, Is Id; slipes, Hid, Is 34d, 10id, Is 2d, 84d, Is Id. Total sold, 63,000 bales; to Home trade, 35,000; to Continent, 27,000; to America, 1000 bales. Carried forward, 67,000 bales.
