Sneak Thieving
ACCUSED SENT TO GAOL Per Press Association. MASTBRTON, July 14. This clats of offence is purely sneak thieving and very difficult to detect, stated Detective-Sergeant Kane in the Magistrate’s Court, when Ernest Minifie, driver, aged 28, was charged with the theft of four money boxes and th£ir contents and a bottle and a half of whisky of the total value of £3 11s 4d, the property of Cyril Randal Judd, Mfturiceville. Accused wap also charged with the theft of £1 the property of Clarence Meredith, of Tikiiapu. Accused pleaded guilty to both charges. On the first he was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment and on the second he was convicted and discharged.
