Alan Loveday Concert The Male Voico Choir in providing such an outstanding concert in snpport of the Alan Loveday cause, are pleased that their efforts are meeting with appropriate and fitting recognition which only indicates that the people of Palmerston North arc really appreciative of good music when artists of popular favour arc brought to tho city. On Saturday night at the Opera House Alan Loveday will have associated with him the Palmerston North Male Choir, Miss Myra Sawyer, Mr. Russell Lauren- { son, and a string trio under Miss D. Southey Baker. Of the visiting artists, Miss Sawyer needs no introduction to j the public of Palmerston North. Her _ beautiful and sympathetic singing are J so well known hero as to make further ( praise unnecessary.
