KIA TOA MEET MASSEY COLLEGE In continuation of the second round of the Manawatu Rugby Union's senior competition, Kia Toa meet Massey College in the 2.45 p.m. game on the oval at the Showgrounds to-morrow. Kia Toa displayed a new turn of versatility in the open type of game with which they defeated United last Saturday, while Massey College played their best game of the season when they account ed for Feilding Old Boys by 11 points to nil. Both teams like exploiting their backline to the full and, as this is the second game of the second round championship, in which neither team has been defeated, both will be on their mettle and prepared to make the game bright and open. On account of their being unable to play at 1.15 p.m., Feilding Old Boys will play their match with United at the same hour as the main fixture, but on No. 2 ground at the rear of the grandstand. This meeting should hold ample interest, too, and there will doubtless be a large following at that section of the Showgrounds. At Feilding, Feilding and St. Patrick's will provide the feature. The curtain-raiser for the main match in Palmerston North is between Kia Toa and Old Boys juniors, and as this meeting will decide who will hold the honour on the championship ladder, both sides having 14 points, the match should be well up to standard.
