Appeal to Duke
WOMAN SEEKS PROTECTION PARIS, June 23. A former modiste, Suzanne Cochet, 41, last night attempted to enter the villa of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor at Cap d’Antibes, on tho Riviera. She was stopped by the Duke’s private bodyguard. The woman is stated to bo mentally unbalanced. She said: “I wish to place myself under the Duke’s protection, because I think he is the only man left with a good heart.’’ After being handed over to the Surete Nationale, the woman was taken to an asylum at Nice.
