HIGHEST SCORE TO P. WHITEHEAD Last Saturday the Cheltenham Defence Rifle Club's shoot for tho Coronation Cup resulted in F. Whitehead putting up a very line effort. Detailed scores are as follow: F. Whitehead, 35, .35, 32, handicap 2, 102; P. Simpson 34, 30, 32, 9, 101; R. Bickers 33, 32, 33, 6, 101; I. Simpson 32, 31, 29, 7, 99; V. Barrow 33, 32, 31, 3, 99; R, Taylor 28, 31, 27, 13, 99; L. Jefferies 29, 24, 29, 15, 97; R. E. Stewart 32, 34, 26, 4, 96; J. Hamilton 25, 25, 30, 15, 95. Next Saturday, a start will bo made with a new cup, known as the Stevenson Cup, to be fired over ranges of 300 and 600, to be fired every two months lor six times during the year, and to be won three times in succession or four times at intervals.
