Before Mr. A. J. Geary, J.P., at the Feilding Courthouse yesterday, George Finlay Hutton, of llalcombe, a youth aged 18 years, was charged with forging a cheque for £5 10s drawn on the Bank of Australasia, Hamilton, in favour of G. Hutton, purporting to be drawn by J. Carson and attempting to cause Randall A. McKinnon to act upon it as if it were a genuine document. The accused was remanded to sDnear at Hamilton on April 8.
