At last evening’s meeting of the Feilding branch of the Workers’ Educational Association, Dr. Guy Scholfield, Parliamentarian Librarian, of Wellington, outlined proposals in connection collection of historical data for the forthcoming centennial celebrations. Old pupils of the Feilding Agricultural High School residing in Auckland and district held their reunion gathering on Saturday night when Mr. L. J. Wild, headmaster of the school, and patron of the Old Pupils’ Association, attended. The reunion of Rangitikei district members will be held at Marton on Friday next.
During his stay in Feilding Dr. Guy Scholfield was the guest of Mr. T. L. Seddon.
Heavy rain followed the thunder storm experienced at Kiwitea yesterday. Conditions were very humid in Feilding and although rain threatened nothing beyond a few drops was experienced in the town.
Mr. C. L. Hunter, M.P. for Manawatu, was a guest at the Feilding Civic Club’s luncheon yesterday.
