Halcombe - Kakariki W.D.F.U.
MONTHLY MEETING The March meeting of the HalcombeKakariki branch of the W.D.F.U. was held last Thursday, Alarch 31, in the Halcombe Jubilee Hall. In the absence of the president, Airs. Barnett, Mrs. Green was elected to the chair and presided over a good attendance. Apologies for absence were received from Mrs. Barnett and Airs. J. Blunden. The usual business being dealt with, a rollcall followed, “The Uses of a Lemon,” which brought forth some interesting hints. Next mouth’s roll-call is .to be “Alottos. ” Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mrs. Callingham and Aliss Beales.
Will all members and intending members please note that the next meeting will be the annual one. This will be advertised at a later date.
