Change of Control for East Coast Airways
SHAREHOLDERS APPROVE Per Press Association. GISBORNE, April 2. The shareholders in East Coast Airways, Ltd., have given their approval to the proposals of the director? for the absorption of the company by Union Airways. A circular issued last month indicated tho inability of the East Coast company to finance further extensions which were considered necessary and disclosed that Union Airways, which already held the majority of the shares, was prepared to take over the shares at their fafee value. The change in control will not affect the existing services or the staffs.
