Air Liner Delayed By Bad Weather

Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. The north-bound Union Airways airliner arrived at Christchurch to-day an hour and a-half later than the scheduled time. It was unable to fly further south than the Waitaki emergency aerodrome yesterday because of bad weather the one passenger was transported with tho mails to Dunedin by car. The aeroplane remained at tho Waitaki aerodrome overnight, the idea being to fly it to Dunedin early this morning, but it was again held up by bad weather. Nine passengers and the mail left Dunedin at 7.30 a.m. to-day by car which connected with the aeroplane at Waitaki at 10.30 and the time of the aeroplane's arrival at Christchurch was 11.30.
