Death in a Tramcar
AMERICAN DOCTOR’S END Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. At the inquest into the death of Charles Spencer Bone, aged 66, an American Doctor of Philosophy, who collapsed aud died in a tramcar, was held before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M. Charles Porter, conductor of the tramcar, said he tried to rouse deceased but was unable to do so. Some money fell from deceased's hand. The tramcar went on to Karangahape road where an ambulance was called aud artificial respiration was applied, but without success. The Coroner gave his verdict that death was due to heart disease. Deceased, who had been in the Dominion for about 12 years, leaves an adult family in America.
