BIG YEAR FOR N.S.W. RUGBY UNION

Rugby Union teams from New Zealand, Victoria and • Queensland will visit New South Wales in the coming Rugby season, according to an announcement made at a meeting of the New South Wales Rugby Union.

The selectors are to be asked to pick two New South Wales teams to meet each of the visiting State teams.

The management committee decided that club matches would commence a week later, on April 18, and end a week later, on September 24. New Zealand will play three- matches in Sydney.

The inter-State programme arranged is:—June 11, Victoria v. New South Wales; June 13, Victoria v. New South Wales, and Queensland v. New South Wales; June 18, Queensland v. New South Wales.

An invitation from Queensland to send a team to play matches on April 30 and May 2 was accepted.
