Extract from The Cyclist (England): “A man fined 10s at Epworth, nesix Doncaster, for carrying more than one person on a cycle, was stated to have his wife on the carrier. She was holding on with one hand, while with the other she clutched a perambulator containing a child—poor old dad providing the motive power! lie ought to have been given 10s, not fined!”
