Glasgow Has Black-out For “Air Raid”
SUCCESSFUL EXPERIMENTS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright Received Saturday, 12.55 a.m. LONDON, Feb. 25. In Glasgow there was an air-raid black-out at 3 a.m. when there was still considerable traffic in all streets. The lighting was switched off and volunteers led by a woman extinguished a fire at a house built at an isolated spot for the occasion and whereon an incendiary bomb exploded. Other experiments with high explosive bombs and gas bombs passed off successfully.
