Mr W. AJatheson presided at a general meeting of the jubilee committee, the purpose of which was the deciding of the dates for the jubilee celebrations. Mr T. Fraser presided over a fair attendance at the February meeting of the Young Farmers’ Club. The lecturer for the evening was Mr G. S. Robinson, or the Department of Agriculture, Palmerston North, who gave an interesting lecture on “Dips and Dipping.” The speaker touched on all phases of the subject, and his remarks were keenly followed by members.
