Human and Robot Pilots in Plane
FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA LONDON, Feb. 20. Reynolds News says that an aeroplane with one human and one robot pilot will take off from Croydon for Australia as soon as the weather conditions are favourable. The ’plane is the result of over two years’ experiment. The robot apparatus is capable of flying the machine on a set course and correcting wind drift or tendency to stall. The pilot with the machine will be A. W. Macarthur Onslow.
