ALL BUT CHOICE OF TEAM
BRITAIN READY FOR TOUR SELECTION NEAR END OF MARCH All arrangements for the British Rugby tour of South Africa have been completed, with the exception of the selection of the team. Following talks with Mr. Paul Roos, the British authorities have accepted the full itinerary as proposed by the South African Board, and the team will leave on May 20, sailing from; Capetown for home on September 16. Commander Cooper, interviewed by Reuter, said that not until the end of March was anything likely to be known of the composition of the team. It would be several weeks yet, he said, before the selectors considered the question of invitations, as they were apparently waiting to see the form of those participating in international matches.
