The twenty-fourth annual conference of the New Zealand Institute of Engineers commenced at Dunedin yesterday with 119 members present under the presidency of Mr. McG. Wilkie, of Dunedin. The delegates were accorded a welcome by the Mayor, Mr. Cox, and Mr. Morrell, Chancellor of the University. The business programme largely consists of a discussion on technical papers presented by members.
