YOUNG MAN SUPS INTO BOILING MUD. While on holiday at Rotorua Mr. and Mrs. A. Mills, of Pahiatua, accompanied by Messrs J. McKay and B. Donald, went to view the Spout Baths at Whakawerawera, when Mr. Mi Up stepped on sulphur ground which caved in. H 9 received a painful burn from boiling mud. He was taken to a private hospital, and it is expected the leg burns received will take at least six weeks to heaL
